I'm Back.

Hi

I have added a blog page again. The plan is to update the page once a week with any news of new items that I have fired or any events that I will be going too.
I have been busy in the studio(garage) with both kilns fired up. Some new items that I have been working on are slumped bottles and christmas decorations. Oh yes, for all those who wanted to know how Billy is doing. Well, he has moved his girlfriend, Molly, in and is doing well for cat his age.

Well, since my last blog I have been busy building my stock up and also working on some new ideas. One of which are the photo frames that are in my gallery. I have two types 7" x 5" and 6" x 4". I have made a number of different colours and can addapt the frame size and what ever colour or colours you want. I will attending my first craft fair in April. So, book the 18th April and come along to Northampton Rugby Club. Other ideas are small mirrors with fused glass surrounds and small flower holders, watch this space. If you have any ideas about things I can make please let me know.

Happy New Year To You All

Well, since my last blog the glass production has been in full swing. Late November we went away on a cruise in the Caribbean to celebrate out 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was fantastic apart from coming home to home to the freezing temperatures. The I switched back on the kiln and I did not switch it off till Christmas Day. I also have submitted three pieces of glass work to an exhibition at the Great Linford Arts Workshop. It runs to the middle of January and I hope it brings in a few more customers.

I have ventured out into some new works including photo frames and sun catches. I will photograph them today and put them in my gallery. Next year I will working on widening my jewellery designs, so if you have any ideas please let me know?

Bill sends greetings to you all and is at present lodging in the garage as Paddy has come to visit us for Christmas. He is a Black Labrador and I know Billy and dogs do nt get on.

Well, Billy is back and alive and kicking. He still has a wonkey left eye and is still   knocking into a few wall's, but he has put on weight and is back to his old ways.

I have added to the gallery some pendant's, drop and stud earring's, bracelet and necklace. Also I have just fired two plates which I have named after a artist Piet Mondrian. Judge for yourself but when you see the light shine through them they come to life.

My next project is tea candle holders.

New Batch of Pendants and Earings on the way.

A new batch of pendants and earings will be fired this week and the best will be in the gallery soon. Thanks Jane, for coming up with a list of names for my glass pieces, more ideas on the way. Billy the cat has Conjunctivitis now. I know he is old, but this is crazy. For those more interested on news of the cat, a photo will be attached soon.

Firing up Kiln tonight.

I am about to fired up the kiln to produce some pendants. The gallery has been uploaded with more items and I will name and describe the items soon. If you have ideas for names let me know? Billy the cat is much better, even though he has used up most of his lifes. Went to Wrest Park Craft Fair and picked up some good ideas.

New bowl fired tonight and results went well. I used the same coloured glass as the On Fire coasters. Check out the Gallery. Oh yes, Billy is doing well and has eaten three bowls of food already today, even though he has lost nearly all his teeth.

If you have a chance can you check my site for any grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. I would like to thank Betty, Philip and favorite proof reader Vince. Oh yes, Billy the cat was at the vets today and had eight teeth removed, has he got any teeth left?

More Items coming soon for the Gallery and Shop.

I have just got this website up and running and will be updating my gallery soon and also placing more items in my shop. Had a wonderful day yesterday, celebrating my birthday at Melanie and Dan's, thanks.

What day so far, England are doing well in the Ashes. I just looked in the kiln and the coasters that I have justed fired look great. Apart from Billy the cat who looks a sorry state, things are going well.

Email now working and all the site is up and running I hope?
